Cumbrian-born brothers Ben Thorns, 31, and Tom Thorns, 25, launched Solid Digital Marketing in 2006, a company developing interactive, community-based websites. Bingohideout.co.uk is the brightest star in their burgeoning galaxy of websites, which also includes lottohideout.co.uk and bingojetset.com. This year they expect to see a turnover of £250,000.

"In september 2006 we launched bingohideout.co.uk, a social networking site for bingo players. It really took off and we started to get serious interest from people wanted to pay to advertise. In the last few months we've upgraded its social network software, so we've been really busy.
It's lucky that our skill sets are well-balanced. Tom has a degree in computer science and is very technical, while my degree is in business administration and I have more of a sales and customer service focus, so we're not treading on eachother's toes. We share the finance and marketing."
