Family Business Place is delighted to announce the launch of the 2009 Family Business Awards that are being run in conjunction with The International Centre for Families in Business and GENERATION Magazine.
“The UK is a treasure trove of successful family businesses and these awards were created to celebrate their achievements and the contribution that they make,” says Anita Brightley-Hodges, Director of Family Business Place. “Whether you already work within a family business, or are aware of one that is a success, now is the time to nominate them for an award so that they gain the recognition they deserve”
As Paul Andrews, Director of Family Business Place explains, “These awards are now in their third year and have already proven a success, with past winners including Dorset Village Bakery, Commercial Group and Bales Worldwide Travel. They are also reflective of the growing presence of the family business community and we are looking for family businesses that have succeeded through a number of generations, have strong values at the core of their business, are involved with their local community and are successful in what they do. We continue to be amazed by the commitment and endeavours of family businesses and are looking forward to receiving nominations.”

Best Second Generation Family Businesses
Best Third Generation Family Businesses
Best Fourth Generation Family Businesses
Best Fifth Generation & Beyond Family Businesses
