Family Business Growth Clubs

Managing Directors and CEOs of small to medium sized businesses find themselves isolated. They don't have an army of people to get things done or the money to spend on countless specialists and advisers. As a result, they often have to find other ways to get support and guidance on difficult business issues, build networks and evolve new strategies to reflect changing markets.

You and Yours
For those of us running family businesses, the challenges are magnified as additional concerns come into focus:

Succession planning
Managaing family dynamics and generational attitudes
Finding a balance between performance versus status of family members
The need to trust non-family executives
The question is, where do family businesses find the help and advice they need?

One of the answers is the Family Business Growth Clubs, a series of small clubs of between 6-10 members around the country that meet once a month, where family business owners can talk to and help others facing similar issues. Organised and run by the Family Business Place, these clubs are facilitated, and designed to support, challenge and encourage dialogue and ideas necessary to help those of us running family businesses run them more effectively and successfully.
