The Family Business Place is delighted to announce that the inaugural Family Business Week will take place from 1-6 November 2010 and will be a chance to celebrate for the family business sector across the UK. The week will see a number of initiatives profiling different issues affecting the sector and family businesses are being encouraged to join in the event as well.
Paul Andrews, Director of Family Business Place is really excited about the initiative, adding “this is a great time to be launching something positive to the UK business community and to share best practice at the same time. There are lots of events that are specific to one sector of the economy but as far as we are aware, this is the first event that recognises the sector and brings together family businesses from all sectors of the UK economy.”
Special features will be running each day of the week as outlined below and the event culminates in the 2010 Family Ties Conference which incorporates the Family Business Awards 2010.
