J.P. Morgan Private Bank and the Institute for Family Business (IFB) announced the winners of their seventh annual Family Business Honours programme at a ceremony held recently at The Kensington Roof Gardens in London.
The winners were chosen for excellence across a range of categories, including business success, social responsibility and family governance. Each business was commended for its relentless pursuit of innovation and for a demonstrable commitment to its employees and the community at large.
Congratulations to the winners:
Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop for over 300 years;
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. London’s last remaining traditional family brewer established in 1845; and
Robert Wiseman Dairies One of the country’s leading milk companies, providing 30% of the fresh milk consumed in Britain every day.
Olivier de Givenchy, Head of J.P. Morgan's Private Bank in the UK applauded the winners, adding that "Underpinning the Family Business Honours is the belief that successful family businesses are usually those that have found a way to balance the demands of the family, the business and the community".
